Pictures of our newest. Everything appears healthy and normal, which is always reassuring to hear. My first two pregnancies (and deliveries) were nearly perfect and uneventful, so I expect this one to follow suit. I'm gunning for an hour-long labour with three pushes to get him/her out! Haha!!
And more good news... my due date got bumped up to October 4th. A whole week! Since I'm 100% positive I didn't count wrong, maybe the baby is just measuring a little bit bigger than normal. I really don't care though :)

The feet.

The spine.

We decided not to find out the gender, so we'll be as surprised as everyone else in October (I'm thinking end of September). We didn't with the first two either. It kinda feels like opening a Christmas gift in August and then re-wrapping it until December 25... and I like the anticipation and suspense of not knowing. But just for the record, my intuition says girl :) Take it for what it's worth, but I was right both times previously! Pressure's on to make it 3 for 3!!

Monster tidbits:
Mmmmm, Mommy. I love posspickles. [popsicles] They are oh so tasty.
[in an attempt to one-up, after learning Mommy has one baby and his auntie has two babies in utero] I have THREE babies in MY tummy!
[in defense of me calling him a pest] I'm not a pest! I'm just a pain!
I asked both the kids at lunch today what we should name our new baby. Monster said Nate for a brother, and for a sister he yelled "Miss Lori!" His playschool teacher.
Munchkin, fresh from a viewing of her new favourite movie, said Wall-E for a boy. For a girl?
"EVA!"

I figured since everything else in my life is undergoing maaaaaajor changes right now, why not revamp the ol' bloggy? So here she is!
We are moved in our new place now and mostly settled, trying to establish new routines whilst trying to remember where I decided my kitchen doodads now live. (Makes cooking a bit of a challenge) Things are still a bit crazy, but at least I'm not living amongst towers of boxes anymore.
The babe is growing just as he/she's supposed to, I've finally gained some weight back (yeah!) which puts me back at my pre-pregnancy weight (oh.) Ultrasound is on the 25th... super excited for that!
Oh, my oven is yelling to me that the food is now cooked and hot and ready to eat. Byes.

Hi. I'm Melissa.
Welcome to my humble abode on the interweb!
I'm a wife and stay-at-home mom. My life is not exactly thrilling, but it is my life. And I choose to love it. Every day.
My dream is to become a professional photographer (one day...), but for now, I only aspire to gain experience and learn learn LEARN.
I write about my life here and there, post things that catch my fancy, and random things that distract me.
I appreciate any and all feedback, I just want to improve on my fledgling photo skills, and on myself in general.
I hope you enjoy.
